123, If You Want Me

Hi. I've been shooting on a Canon Rebel T2i lately. I just got it and did a time lapse experiment and a YouTube contest with it. I'm filming a documentary on it right now and these are both test projects to help me figure out the equipment.

Here's the time lapse filmed on a Tamron 17mm f/2.8 open to 17mm:

And the contest, Life in a Day, filmed mostly on a 50mm f/1.8 lens:

Motion blur is your friend on time lapses.

Jason

Nice work on that. Great cinematography and those time lapses really pop. Thanks for the advice on shutter speed. The motion blur looks great.

I had the camera set up on a speaker way in the corner, no tripod. I forgot it on the way over :)

Oops.

There was a balled up sock under the lens to keep it somewhat level and the camera hit an error at 8,500 exposures, so I had to reset it.
