12 Volt Batteries

So on my last shoot I was stuggling to power my monitor - for hours away from power

Its a Small HD, 12 V

I also have a steadicam Pilot monitor - 12V

In the future I foresee owning some LED lights for fill

I am after

ONE battery system and mounting system

ONE style of connectors and plugs

ONE charger

I would like a mount on my Rails and Pilot

I would then have a selection of batteries

Say a light one - for hendheld and on the pilot

Medium ones - for shoulder work or sticks and short duration use of some LED

And I think I could get some boat leisure batteries too for a bit more welly for longer use of the LEDs

Can anyone suggest a battery system ?
An LED light system ?

There's a thread in Cinema5d on this issue.

why not reg 12v bricks you get from your local electronic supply house , i have monitor and lights (lcd) and my gyro stablizer all work off 12v supply . i have 3 different sizes all with the same ends and all use a reg 12v charger. small one were $12. big ones were $30. one would run my monitor all day.
