I shot a short comedy/crime about a week ago and I just finished editing it. I'm planning on sending them into film festivals but before I do, I need to know opinions from other film makers as well. I would like you to be truely honest and also, some tips from you guys would be amazing!!

This was shot on a HVX200a in 12 hours and color corrected with Magic Bullet.

I watched the whole thing..entertaining as hell!!! Damn funny.
for comedy shorts I think the character is really likable.
As far s feedback goes...the intro shots were great. I felt the bathroom shots and a few of the interiors felt a bit claustrophobic, mainly because of the space itself and the fact there is not much room...
The tattoo wearing off because of the heat was great!
Well done...

Haha thanks! I'm glad you liked it :D
I know, I wished I had a bigger bathroom to work with. Imagine trying to light it and fit the camera and boom mic in there. I was dripping in sweat within minutes. Haha. :(
Haha and I thought the tatoo thing was pretty cool too. It was my first time having a makeup artist.

haha loved it great job
"kyle get out of the room, i got to have a little talk with my friend here"..."hold on"---i cracked up at this part

Great job! the best part was the interaction between the guy and his GF.. oh and the tattoos fading away :)

The HVX looks great as usual, what 35mm adapter did you use?

Haha thanks! :) I'm glad you liked the scene with the guy and his girlfriend. I was about to cut it because I thought it was boring... but I guess revising the script 7 times and editing it for a week will do that to you... haha.
I actually didn't use a 35mm adapter, i just used the swing tilt and the edge softness feature in magic bullet to make it look like it did... thats why it doesn't look as good as a real 35mm. But I'm waiting for my Panasonic GH1 to come in so I'm really excited for that!! :D

Thanks everybody for the positive feedback! :D
But just to let you all know, I'm also trying to get some honest feedback that can help me improve for my next project. I'm a big boy so go ahead :) heehee
