Are these new v2 versions worth the upgrade if you're getting the GH5? Has anyone ween if the V2 of the 35-100 fixed the OIS problem the v1 problem had?

What OIS problem? Haven't noticed anything yet.

The jitter problem, where you often could not get a good hand-held image when the OIS was active.

I sold my 35-100mm f/2.8 ver 1 lens because I could not use it for hand-held video.
( the GH5 IBIS fixes this, but I am still going to buy the 35-100mm ver 2, or potentially the Olympus 40-150mm f/2.8 instead )

I haven't noted the OIS issue in most footage, but did on some slow motion portraits against seamless. The image seemed to swirl a tiny bit. But this was partly due to user error as the OIS should have been shut off in the first place since the GH4 was on sticks, & as soon as we did the issue went away.

The GH5's sensor based stabilization works best if the camera knows the focal length, & not sure Olympus zooms provide this feedback to Panasonic bodies, but hope they do. The focal length can be set in-camera, just like you'd do with 3rd party primes, but many would the menu dig impractical when using a zoom.

So will these version 2 versions be worth the upgrade or not if you already have the 1st versions? I'm getting a GH5 and I have a G85, I didn't know if the difference will me marginal to sell the first versions and upgrade? Thanks!

Good question. I have the 12-35 1st version and plan to take my time, see how it does, watch the comments and not rush to do anything.
