I made a test with 1080p and 720p. This are the results:

The complete 1080p:

and the 720p increased with premiere CS3:

At first sight none differentiated!

Only if you stores the result as MPG, becomes differentiated noticeably:

I think, thats very interesting, if you considers that 1080 use substantially more memory on the non removable disk

Thanks for taking the time to post. You set the sharpness to -7? what does it look like at 0?

everything over -7 produces an artificial edges. that is well with video but ugly by film. so i do not use it
