Ok, I'm shooting with 1080pa and using log and transfer in fcp and i get interlacing artifacts, the same thing happens wiht 1080p. I am doing something wrong here? I thought the hpx170 did 1080p. I'm kind of freaking out right now as I just got the camera and a have big shoot in 1080p with it sunday and if it's interlacing then I'm in a bad spot. Thanks.

The hpx170 does not record native 1080p, it uses pulldown. You have to remove it if you want to edit in 24p timeline. Or you can shoot 720/24pN.
