ok most of my internet shorts are shot in 720p60 at 1/60th shutter for normal shots and 1/125th shutter for slow mo shots...
I transcode into AIC format and drop those files into a dvchd720p timeline. When I want to slow mo, I simply take the 1/125th clip and set the speed to 50% with no frame blending.
My question is because I'm shooting my next feature for dvd release and for ease of editing, I'm shooting totally in 1080p24 mjpeg 1/60th for normal shots.
How to I efficiently get smooth slow motion with these new settings?
I drop my files into a dvchd24p timeline...
so for slow mo do I still shoot in 1/125th shutter?
and do I just do the same speed change in fcp? (50% with no frame blending)
