1080p with the HPX170

Question: does the HPX170 shoot 1080 at true progressive frames?

I'm a bit confused about the nature of 1080p on this camera. Is it actually interlaced frames that are put together? The reason I ask is for tracking purposes -- it's not so fun trying to track interlaced footage.

Thanks!

Yes, it's true progressive, but it's stored in an interlaced stream because the codec requires it. Bring it into an NLE, and if it doesn't take care of it automatically, there are steps you take to retrieve the true progressive frames. Then, there will be no interlacing.
