1080p projection from hmc150

I'm fully aware about the faux 1080/720 resolution on the hmc150, but anybody know at what point (in terms of projection size) that the softness really becomes noticeable and bad from the pixel shifting? Would 1080 from this cam be adequate for broadcast t.v. ? Not specifically planning on it, but just curious if anybody has tested and researched. thanx.
 
Of course it'd be plenty appropriate. NBC News is using HPX170s as their handheld cameras, which use the exact same lens/chipsets as the HMC150.
 
Would BBC and/or Discovery channel accept content shot with 1080p AVCHD in PH mode from hmc150?
