1080p lowest framerate is 30fps??

Hi All,

anyone had this experience... in 720p, I can dial down frame rate to 2, but in 1080p, it stops at 30 - can't go any lower.

As a PAL camera, I'm expecting 25 fps as an option - but this thing stops at 30 - driving me nuts....
 
Hey, you need to be in 720p mode for the lower shutter speeds. Not available in 1080... 1/30 is the minimum shutter for 1080 24p, I am not sure why it's not a 1/24 shutter - I suspect because the camera drops the occasional frame and so a 1/30 shutter is more comfortable for the camera to handle.
 
Thanks Oedipax and Commanderspike... my bad! Had a brain freeze over shutterspeed and framerate!!

Now I feel really stupid....
