1080p/30 on AVID?

:happy:I've just bought an EX-1 camera and want to shoot and edit 1080p/30. Want to distribute on blue-ray at same rate. Is this possible or will it be on version 3 of MC?

I'm trying to decide between MC and FCP (which does do 1080p30). Any advice would be greatly apprciated.:laugh:

great news, now to decide if I can afford it rather than FCP, it looks like it is considerably more money for an entire edit system. :thumbsup:

If It comes out in June, you don't post in the Avid forum any more. If it doesn't, I won't post in here any more.

I'd like to see this support too. And it looks like it will be out in June, but the real question is whether or not it will actually work.

Just like Avid and JVC both say that my BR-HD50U decks should work with Media Composer - and they don't.

again, I do hate to be less than gitty about their tease. I've listened to em anough years to know hogwash when I hear it.
