1080i question

I have a video that was shot in squeeze mode with dvx100. When I export through adobe media encoder I choose this setting: NTSC 720 x 480 widescreen 16:9. Now I need to export to tape (DVCAM) in 1080i. Can someone please explain the difference between 720 x 480 widescreen and 1080i DVCAM?

1080i is HDV as in HD.
Dvcam is dv as in SD.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think 1080i dvcam exists.
 
That is what I thought, so I was confused when a film festival requested a copy of my film in one of these formats:
DVCAM (NTSC 1080i)
HDCAM (NTSC 1080i)

I think maybe they were confused or made a mistake, so I'll check with them.
