I've always shoot 720p, but I decided to play around with 1080i to see how it looks.
I know that 1080i/24pA is shot interlaced. But when I log/transferred it in FCP, and watched the QuickTime file, and it didn't look interlaced at all. Usually when I've ever watched interlaced footage on a computer, it's extremely obvious, but then again that's 60i. Am I just not noticing the interlacing because each two fields are of the same frame (appearing to be one progressive frame)? Or is it really converted to progressive when log/transferred?
