Hey guys,
Sorry to drop this so randomly, but I did a music video shoot over the weekend, and I'd set the camera for 1080i 24p (not 24pA). I normally shoot 720p for everything, but I was working with two DSLRs as well so we decided to do everything at 1080.
However, every time I try to import the footage it gives it to me at 29.97 in Final Cut. Is there a way to import this to get it at 24fps? I'm getting some interlacing and I'm not sure what I screwed up, but FCP just doesn't want to see it as 29.97. I still have images of the P2 cards so I could try exporting using other programs or if there's something I can do to the footage in FCP that would be cool. I tried P2CMS but I have no idea what it did when it exported or if it moved the file or what, I can't make much sense of the interface.
I'm not super tripping out on the screwup because I'm really looking at staying with the DSLRs for most of it, had my HVX on a crane, but would like to salvage as much as I can if possible.
