1080 60P mode shutter speed

I've been deliberating whether to shoot my feature in regular 24p or to shoot in 60p and have the advantage of slow motion availability throughout. Since there will be a good bit of slomo I've decided on 60P (it also has the advantage of slightly higher data rate, 28 instead of 24 in PS mode).

Since the footage will be dropped onto a 24p timeline and the slomo will only be used here and there, what would a good default shutter speed be? For regular 24P I would normally set the shutter at 48. Looks like minimum shutter speed at 60P is 60. Are the slomo sequences going to blur at that low of a shutter speed? Any reason not to go the 60P route?

Drop frame from 60 to 24 can look ok and is very fast (not perfect. Need at least 120 for perfect drop frame: 120/24=5; 60/24=2.5). Test it to make sure you like it. However, 60 fps at 28Mbps is pushing it. Best to shoot 24 and only shoot faster when you need it. 120 and up can be saved at 24fps (slomo), so the quality is excellent.

Came to the same conclusion, I'll just shoot specific scenes with 120 or 240 Super Slomo. Another thing that helped my decision was when I tried to import a 60P clip into FCP 7, and it didn't even recognize the file. I Googled it, and it's a known issue.
