1080/60p & 1080/60i

Hope this isn't a dumb question and actually plan to do my own test to verify...but wanted to throw this out here.....

My lone NX5U I shoot along side of my 2 FS100 only does 720/60P...am I thinking of letting the NX5U shoot in 1080/60I...since all the footage will be converted to 24P in post...

Thoughts?
