Hey guys, been a while since i've posted my work here, been shooting for a local sports show mostly now, but the other day I had a chance to go back to my high school that i graduated from last year and do one of my stylized sports edits like I've done alot in the past.

Shot on a panasonic hmc150 w/ a sachtler fsb4 tripod, edited in final cut/motion and graded in magic bullet looks

Enjoy!

hey Matt good stuff as always! :D

you focus a little too much on kingma though.

why did you choose to shoot in interlaced?

on a side note ive been doing some highlights for the local high school lately and id love to have your opinion on how im doing

Hey man, thanks for the feedback..

I chose to focus on kingma for a couple reasons. 1. He had almost all the highlights from the game (LOL). 2. With him comitting to oregon now, alot of oregon blogs and such want to see kingma footage, I so wanted to showcase that 3. Honestly, he's pretty much all anybody wants to see haha, so might as well give the fans what they want.

I shot in interlaced because now that youtube supports 1080p I wanted to maximize that. Also, it still has the fast autofocus as does 60p, and you can still get pretty good slow mo (though not as good as 720p60) from 1080i60

I'll check out your highlights

ah makes sense now

ah understood

do you shoot with your 150 for the sports show?

thanks man ,i consider you a pro so anything you have in the way of cc is greatly appreciated

Overall, very impressive. I'm sure the team really apprecitated it. A few more floor level shots from one end of the court or the other may have given this a little more variety. Aside from the opening shots, you primarily record from the same location throughout.

I'm not sure what you mean by Youtube supporting 60i only. No online video is ever interlaced -- it's all progressive and usually 30p. Interlacing is an old broadcast standard (well, it's still widely used but will eventually go away). I probably would have shot it in 720 60p.

I meant I utilized the 1080p, not the interlaced. I recorded in 60i because it handles fast motion better than 30p. I've shot all my sports in 60p before. Wanted to switch it up for a minute and try filming in 60i
