1080/24pa firestore footage has only white image

I have been shooting a 1080/24pa documentary for the past five months using the FS-100. Going over some of the footage, a small fraction of it has audio but no image. Instead the image is merely white as the audio plays. My Mac Pro turns sluggish when I access the files and quicktime states that i need additional plug ins downloaded to view the material.

Again, this only happened to one full set of imported clips.

Is there any way to save this footage?

your footage is not damaged in anyway it is a codec problem, i know from experience,i did have FCP 5.1.0 then when i installed FCP 6 and replace the Library/HD/quicktime folder with the one from a friend's mac the issue resolved. i hope it helps.
