100b telephoto or teleconverter?

I have done a search but not sure of the answer. Is the Century Optics 1.6x or the 2x teleconverter the only tele lens that works with the dvx100b with minimal vignetting? Or is there a cheaper option? I am only hobby videographer with low budget. Any help appreciated.

It's the only one that actually works. There are others that claim to work (like the Digital Optics stuff) but they're useless. The Century lenses perform as advertised.

But the teleconverters are really only useful when you're mostly to fully zoomed in. You're not going to be able to zoom out with the teleconverter attached (at least, not to any appreciable amount).
