took one out sat night and it sucked, added lotsa noise @ +12

to me it performs just like the A in low light, maybe it's my settings (I hope)

I haven't heard it's better in low light. But, what do you expect when you using +12 gain.

gain=noise.

But +12 of what setting???

Im assuming you mean +12 gain because you didnt mention +12 what. Detail level, core, pedestal, chroma, etc. etc.

If you have to use Gain, then try lowering the Master Pedestal to hide the noise. That's what I do.
Also, try a 1/24th shutter speed in low light. It doubles the sensitivity, in a manner of words.

well we did a shoot indoors @ a club last nite and using the exact same settings we compared an A to a B and guess what
it REALLY is better in low light, the 100a was all grainy and the B showed the real colors.
I'm amazed,
the shutter @ 1/24 worked great, didn't mess 2 much with the rest of the settings, just F6 and go.

thanx guys 4 your imput and thanx to Panasonic 4 this great camera.
