100 vs. 100a vs. 100b quality comparison

Not sure if that has been addressed before, but does the actual picture quality improve between each model version?

I've heard that their is some noise reduction between the A and B versions, but is it actually visible and noticable?

Would it be worth purchasing a B over the A based on a picture quality improvement?

I used a B for a stationary cam once and its blacks looked excellent compared to my A. This was for a live theater settting too, where you have no control over lighting and where changes in color temp and lighting are constantly happening. If I could I would get the less "noisier" dvxB but I'm pretty damn happy with my A. In the IDEAL lighting situation the dvxA looks fricken amazing.

Did they have the same scene settings because if the B had lower master pedestal, the blacks would be looking better, I'd assume.

The blacks hit ZERO at Master ped -6. when you drop it to -15 it goes Super black -10 IRE.

There is no BLACKER.
