10-bits?

Hi,

is GH5 still the only current dslr/mirrorless that has 10-bit colors?

Any rumours about when sony a7s3 will come out and will it have 10-bits?

Or if Blackmagic is updating their pocket camera?
Is there any servo zoom lens in MFT format?

* Only Panasonic and Blackmagic are doing 10-bits right now in the hybrid-camera market, AFAIK. The 5D3 also shoots RAW with magic lantern, which is even better than 10-bit, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.
* Any rumors you get regarding what you asked are 100% made up (not by whoever posts them here, but by whoever sent them to the rumor sites). Some say a7S III is on its way for the first half of 2018, and I want to believe a new pocket must be coming too at some point, but it's anyone's guess when that will happen, if ever.

The 5D3 also shoots RAW with magic lantern, which is even better than 10-bit, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

How stable is ML these days? How long you can shoot RAW with 5D3? Does it still overheat?

this forum seems to be quite dry.

I'm afraid the Canon video DSLR world is quite dry, period.

But for that particular question, you can try the ML forum.

In any case, before obsessing too much about the 10-bit thing, you should check stuff like this.
