FS5: 10-bit only internally?

[alex1]

Can the FS5 record 10-bit 422 on an external recorder?

[Mitch Gross]

Yes, in HD. 4K is 8-bit.

When RAW is enabled it will be at a higher bit rate.

[soarprod]

Only using the SDI. Hdmi won't output 10bit

Yes in HD(1080) not UHD (2160). With the Odyssey you could record Prores 422 or better.

So it's possible to record 4K 10 bit 422 Prores with that recorder?
