If you just shot 60,000 stills you've just about taken half the life out of your shutter depending on which model of camera you've got. They are generally only pegged for between 120-150,000 shuttter actuations.
Great! Can I ask you why you choose to do it with stills? I guess it was to your benefit when the darkness came. What I liked about the video was that I didn't got bored, couse you changed location and stuff happening all the time.
But I do have to say I'm not a big fan of the fast shooting stillphoto technique, but that's just personal taste.
Oh btw, it's doesn't look like there has been alot of grading on this vid? (I'm a huge fan of your other video, diablo dimes)
But on video, you don't use the shutter...
Really excellent job.
Aside from the technical aspects of it. When its watched from a viewpoint of someone who wouldnt be well up on things tecnically, im sure it would go down an absolute treat, as it does with us.
Theres a really nice feel to it. The actors, the song, the streets, the atmosphere.
were cameras set to maximum fps all the time?
The high quality makes me want a stills camera that continuously shoots 24 fine JPEGs per second (without mechanical shutter) even harder. The question is when will this be? 2010, 2011 ...
you know what...after watching the original music vid for this track....
YOU ROCKED IT!!! Your film has so much more energy and is more fun to watch than the official music vid!! It accompanies the track beautifully. I can't even watch the official vid anymore.
your vid is perfect for this song.

great work. those girls' cheeky grins are infectious, I like the part with the short guitar solo and the long exposures going through traffic & the moving shots - rhythm of the images had me in a trance but that could have something to do with muscle relaxants.![]()
