1/60 shutter speed?

1/60 shutter speed is it supposed to come out slower than the 1/24 shutter speed and if so how much slower?

what do you mean by slower? 1/60 will have less motion blur than 1/24.

sorry i ment the other way around..... I shot a band in 1/60 and it looks slow with tones of motion blur.... should I shoot a higher shutter speed?

It shouldn't be slow. What were your record settings? 720? Film or Video mode? Sounds like you shot with film mode and your frame rate was not at the default setting causing overcranking (slow motion). If you indeed were shooting 1/60, it would look smooth like video should.

Higher shutter speed is for faster motion (sports). Almost never inside.

I shot video 24p shutter 1/60 it looks good on the camera but when I render out of encore it seems slower and the audio will start not matching up
