Hello, on my ENG Production camera i have a 1/2" bayonet mount lens that i would like to use on my Nikon D500. Is there any adapter that i can buy that would allow this?
I'm afraid that doesn't exist. To go from 1/2" to APS-C needs optics to enlarge the image circle, and also a big chunk of glass to make up for the fact that the D500 doesn't have the beam splitting prism that a 1/2" TV cameras does.
You can find such converters for B4-mount 2/3" TV lenses, but they are very expensive. Less expensive ones forgo the optics.
