1/2 inch lens on dslr

Hey everybody,

I know it's possible to mount a 2/3 inch lens on a gh2. Is it also possible to mount a 1/2 inch lens on a dslr?
I know about sensor size, so not every dslr would do, but if you have any ideas, let me know.

I know that i will lose zoom power but I can manage to create something to powers the lens.

You need to find a lens with a long-enough focal flange distance (unlikely, except for mirrorless big-sensor cameras) and with a big-enough image circle (very, very, very unlikely, except for the cropped modes of the GH2 and the T3i). Even using a micro-four-thirds lens on a Sony NEX is usually problematic, and you're just moving from 1.9x to 1.5x crop factor.
