1,000 Post Video Question

So this is not a requirement is it? Just something for fun? Asking since I'm nearly less than 50 posts away to my 1,000 post.
 
It's definitely a requirement. When you signed up for DVXuser, in the fine print it was listed as an agreement between you and the government that if you stayed for your thousand posts, it's mandatory (for tax reasons I believe) to do at least some sort of small video.

Better get crackin!

1,000th Post Video Requirement - Users are hereby required, upon reaching their 1,000th post, to upload a video extolling the benefits of DVXUser. Failure to do so shall immediately result in ridicule and projectile vomiting. Any user found to have not complied will be a subject for Terry Lasater's "Caption This", and shall be castigated in public by all users. By agreeing to be member on this forum, the user has entered into a contract with the owners of this forum and any breach of contract will be swiftly and severely dealt with. Especially if your DVXUser name is "Ramsaur". User agrees to post a video commemorating their 1000th post which also praises Doc for his wisdom and knowledge of contract language and of everything film, while at the same time complaining how Doc has yet to receive an Oscar for his riveting performances. DVXUser reserves the right to pull videos found to be non-compliant and enact the above-mentioned penalties, if the stipulations outlined are not followed accurately. If continued disregard for the rules exists, double super-secret penalties that are only known by the moderator staff will be levied against the user "Ramsaur"

but, if you don't do it... you have to become a mod. While that might sound like a great thing... you'll quickly learn that it is indeed a punishment :evil:

I warned you, but ya didn't believe me. Jason just briefly opened the curtain behind the secret veil of the enigmatic and very spooooooky DVX administration. Gave away one of the secret punishments. Now to figure out what the other mods did to deserve their punishment. Some of them would be easy.

Just be careful when you answer the door and a bunch of black robed individuals with a DVX logo on their chest want to take you to a "gathering". It won't be fun, all the sacrifices and heathen rituals. I hear they put a camera on the altar every full moon and sacrifice it to the digital gods.

I am going to see if there is a way to sneak my language into the "User Agreement". I am thinking of just nonchalantly offering my services to "correct" a few oversights in the wording. And then, bam!, Doc is in the DVX history books.

Oh wait, the mods read these posts, right? Crap, never mind................>muttering "must find a way....." I think my evil genius self can do it. For I am "Evil Genius Man"! Just sometimes a frustrated one.
 
LOL, I am working on it now. It is the demo reel for Indie-arms, with an added scene to comply with the requirements that I have suggested. LOL.

We are going to be shooting 4 different scenes interspersed with cuts of the films we have been on.

And if it doesn't work out, you're the one that takes the heat, according to the way I wrote it. HAH! :evil:
