1,000 FPS DVX Anromeda Hack

"Sorry Guys,

My first post was a fraud... that clip was faked with slow acting, AE's timewarp filter, compositing and particles in AE.
The idea popped into my head to post it with that story, and I couldn't resist.

The phantom hd camera has been my wet dream lately, so I thought I'd just try and do a simulation with the andro. I guess it sounded plausible, though, no?

Anyway, to get a '1000fps' faked effect, you can use these shots as a reference. Like say for the cereal shot, I shot myself with the open boxes, and moved very slowly, shooting at 23.98. I rendered that in sculptor, took it into AE 8.0, and applied the timewarp filter to slow it down to 25 percent. Timewarp draws new interpolation frames, to further smooth out my already slow-mo acting. Then, I used trapcode's particular to create a stream of 'cereal' particles, and composited that into the shot, using masks and duplicate layers to hide the birthplace of the particular stream. Voila, simulated 1000fps.

So, in conclusion, apologies to all, but here's a new technique you can try out! Realistically, we'll probably never hear from Juan ever again. It was nice to dream for a moment"

Everyone has a price I guess. It's a shame Juan didn't make this andomeda info public. It also makes me wonder about panasonic and what they are capable of but just won't do in order to make you buy more of their products. Damn consumerism.

Now I get to make phone calls and send emails to LOTS of people explaining this is a fraud..... rude I tell you, very rude.

Still, it doesn't deny the fact that Andromeda is amazing..

Oh I definitely agree with you. Wouldve been a better "hey look what I can do" rather than "look what the andromeda can(t) do". Definitely a dissapointment and quite rude to those fortunate enough to have an andromeda.
 
For those wondering, I actually do get emails from around the world asking questions about the Andromeda system. I've done months of testing and revealed quite a lot about it. This is why a fraudulent post, such as this 1,000 fps claim, is rude to me personally.
 
Everytime I do some more research into Andromeda I realise how amazing it truly is, and how sad it is that companies have the ability to do this but they just don't. Anyone think of asking Jan what her take on andromeda is? Has it been asked?
 
If you look at the shot when he is tossing/catching the baseball hat closely you can see cars whizzing by in the background. Those would have been some fast cars if it really was 1000fps.

But goddamn that footage looks great.

You know that he got the idea from you, right? You pulled a similar act with that green screen key you pulled from a cup and those pencils. I mean, sure, you weren't saying that the andromeda gave you that milky smooth bokeh and depth of field, but let's be honest here; monkey see, monkey do.
