09 Broadcast/Eng/Doc demo reel

nice work.

a couple of the cuts at the very beginning are kinda washed out. after the cool tv intro bit- the ENG cuts... by the time it gets to the Hillary shot, it's all good after that.
just those first three or four- maybe five (i dint count...)
low contrast.
put some 'pop' into them to balance with the other good looking stuff.

cuts to music nicely.
very effective i think. you do nice work.

the folks talking but not being heard is a bit offsetting.
maybe just nudge a tiny bit of their vocal into the piece- to reference it somewhat.
unless there's a problem using the voice.

how'd you overcrank the 100A footage? just in 'duration' adjustment?
nice effect, but maybe cuts are a little long?? i dunno, since you're crunching time, why not make the cuts short too (since the viewer can't really 'grab' what's being shown...)
i dunno- just commenting on the effect it has.
with it as a BG for your holding the cards- works just fine- there's something in the FG to draw and keep their attention, you want them to read the cards.

mighty fine stuff overall.

Thanks NoNoob, some good points. I was trying to keep the election content in order of primaries, but i may mix it up a bit so I have more exciting stuff at the beginning. As for the time-lapse. The intro/outro was done on a still camera. All other time-lapse was shot at 24p and then sped up in post.
