I love what this filter does so much I never once took it out of my mattebox but I'm slowly getting out of the business. You might say "just do it in post" but with an image filtered through this glass, you do it better in post every time.
Filters are subjective so I can't really answer any subjective questions; please do your own research.
Note: you must have a mattebox to use this 4x4" (100x100mm) filter

According to Formatt:
"The Super Mist filter is the ultimate softening tool for creating a mood indoors or outdoors, in broad scenics or portraits. The Super Mist is excellent for toning down excessive sharpness and reducing overall total image. Super Mist filters are perfect for taking the harsh edge off many of today's ultra sharp video images or for smoothing and softening facial imperfections.
Warm Super Mist combines the classic Super Mist with a unique skin tone enhancer adding a natural warmth. This is useful in outdoor open shade situations where there is excessive blue in the image and total control over lighting may not be possible."
