“Daimonion" First feature film shot with the FS100

Wow very desaturated! I wonder what settings they used and how graded it was.

It's a pity about the blown highlights on that white shirt. A quick fix would have been to change the shirt for a grey one...

Great steadicam work and overall quality.
 
Wow... pretty brave to do that in one cut... surrounded by glass at every angle! They almost kept the camera out of shot, too. But how are they doing sound? On camera?
 
Oh i would not want to be asked to grade that in a few min...

things i liked as best i can see given the compression;
- sharp everywhere
- my eyes followed the actors not the camera

things i was not so much a fan of;
- the actor in the green shirt - i can feel him (over)emoting, drags everyone else down
- needs to be graded (carefully), or if it's been done, needs to have a second look
- scene in office, FG & BG are both too bright, hero's disspear in the middle, my eyes follow the gal in the back who is futzing with a computer, might get around this with a careful grade tho.

A note on the de-sat thing, i'm gradeing a feature currently, it's a western and the benchmarks are Unforgiven & Silverado, loads of grey skin tones on this show, and in context it's a good choice given the script, not easy to keep the line between realisticly grey skin and kinda dead grey skin tho... this look could play well in context of the script, we might want to wait, and see the completed work tho before passing judgment
