"GoPro releasing a new camera that has a Micro 4/3 mount was not on my bingo list, but it's the first time I've been halfway interested in their product now, so kudos to them on pushing the limits there. I'll probably wait to see how the image quality is before getting TOO interested."
- Or how...
I’m paranoid that I’m going to accidentally change a setting so I tend to keep the OSD on while rolling - OSD OCD ;). I’m glad the zebras stay on in the non windowed mode though…
Thanks, Chris. The LCD is already on the small side so taking away more real estate isn't great. Is there an option to overlay like the previous version?
Looks like a decent update. Have you noticed any improvement on the AF? I'm kind of ascared of updating for a few weeks until we see if there are bricks... BTW does the new overlays take away real estate from the actual image on the screen?
I just finished shooting a feature doc (one man band) and my breathing is often audible on the on-camera shotgun mic. I was using an AT-875r isolated on the top handle hot shoe with a Rycote mic holder. However, I have sinus problems and my breathing is a bit loud.
Is there a). Anyway to avoid...
I’m doing good with my GAS. My GF is out of work so I’m actually thinking about selling a camera. Not sure which one because I love both of them for different reasons.
Yeah, I agree. Resolution, form factor and improved AF seem to be the main incentives to buy a new camera at this point. DR and image quality have peaked since 2020. Sony sort of raised the bar on AF with their 2020 crop of cameras but Canon, Nikon and the others have basically caught up.
I doubt I will. Ergonomics and usability look great, as well as resolutions. Not loving the image though. It doesn't have the old Canon mojo. As you know I have the fx6 and c70 so I don't see the need for a c50...
@rob norton Let me know if you have any connections there and I'll submit ;)... @NorBro Yes, a sequel to the Tarkovsky film. I wonder if Marty would care if someone was using his likeness for an avatar...
