    Is timestamp permanent?

    Sorry for the dumb newbie question, but, somehow the timestamp was turned on in my HPX170P and I shot over an hour of footage this weekend that now has the timestamp on it. Is the timestamp actually "burnt" into the footage or is there a way to separate? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks...
