my LCD works, but when swiveled 90 degrees, the backlight turns off. However, I can still barely see an image. checked with United Camera repair and they said it may be the LCD flex cable, which would be $279 for repairs... Is this something i can do myself? anyone familiar with this

used compressor 4 as sd640x360, wondering if i should try uprezing the footage next time.
this footage goes back some time when i didnt know much about shutter speed and white balance, which might be obvious on some clips
may anyone help me find the best quicktime/quicktime conversion export setting for me to use with as minimal as possible quality loss. Im shooting with a dvx100b, 60i, and in squeeze mode. my image looks amazing in the viewer and canvas, just not when i export as .mov
through an experts opinion, i would like to know which is better for capturing very fast movements with NO motion blur. i know there is a way to shoot fast movements with my dvx100b without any motion blur and i just cant figure out how yet. any comments?
mainly all dvx footage, quality in my eyes looks pretty crisp. anyone have an idea on what scene file settings/shutter speeds used? want this quality with my dvx
i use a century optics .3x fisheye adapter, and ive been using my dvx for about 3 years or so. please watch some of my other edits i have uploaded and let me know if theres anything i can do to get my quality to look more crisp, or is the quality the best i can simply get. i edit using fcp 5...
