Trying to transfer footage from XDCam EX to XD Cam disc is there any way to keep the clip info?? possibly with firewire?

I just started up a small production business in Canada. I own an HVX with FS100 and final cut studio. 2 years experience shooting and editing. Just wondering what the going rate for a videographer/editor is. Any comments appreciated.:thumbsup:
