Does it come with the longer rod for positioning it for on the shoulder work?

Can the Ninja V record interlaced? Might be an option because I think the FX6 can output it.

If you already own all three I'd say sell the 9, get an easyrig minimax and some lenses that will have you covered for the look/range you might need to approximate S35 on the FX6.

    Same. Especially at that price.

Update on the Tilta kit - The baseplate fits the Tilta Standard baseplate, not an Arri Dovetail, which is absolutely absurd.

My Tilta Baseplate/top plate kit arrived. It's excellent. Obviously removed lots of bits I don't need like the baseplate mounted ARRI rosettes but it is great.

I think there have been delays so a month would be optimistic.

Cool thanks for the reply. Great to see it works well. I keep thinking about the Minimax but it's such an annoying weight-range. If I make the investment in a system I'd like to still to be able to use a 10Kg setup. Sad that it's this making me thing of one of the knockoffs.

Hey Vik, Which Easyrig is that in the photo? And how do you find it with the FX6?

For your sized rig the Shuttle Dolly would be fantastic. The cinesliders are great for a more compact slider for big rigs. The 3ft one was very manageable.

Ah right. Cinevate are long gone aren't they? Had great joy with larger cameras with the Kessler Shuttle Dolly. For the FX6 it's a bit overkill.

In other news just ordered the basic Tilta plates and side bits. Not gone for the V-mount plate as I'd rathe ruse my old rails-mounted one so I can move it to adjust balance when it's on the shoulder.

Good question. Not sure. Further forward and it risks getting in frame on wider lenses, further back and it gets in the way of other gear you might want to attach. It already sort of obscures the hot shoe if you put a wireless receiver on there. Honestly a lighter is probably the best solution.

Yeah good point. Probably should have my twitter not linked to my work as well!

    Finding Directors to shoot for.

Very valid matey. This thread was all a separate thing to the usual 'how to get more work' question and more the 'how to find people to tell stories with where you can just give your 100% to the image and they can do the other s*%t when you don't have an existing network of those people' I'll...
