I actually run with a domestic HPX170 but im trying to set up a friend with a cheap setup. He's got his sights set on a Canon HF S11 (looks alright) and is looking to save some cash by buying one "new in box" from Ebay. Any thoughts?

Im transferring clips and about 1/3 of them are not properly transferring. after i add them to the queue they appear to be transferring but then sit "idle". Anybody else have this problem of have a solution?
