Can someone explain the use of encoding, like with Sorensen Squeeze, for example? I can export to a QT ref and bring that into Sonic DVD, al least sometimes without a problem. Though, I am having problems exporting from Avid to a working QT file. Anyway, what does encoding do? Why use it? Thanks.
