Yes its 8K moving picture mode has a 1.18x crop.
Have you actually used an X-T3 and shot 120p? It's the best quality 120p to date:
Quality is near identical to regular speed 1080p, at an expense of a 1.29x crop.
As the sensor is a stills oriented 26MP one, high speed moving picture readout is achieved by horizontal weighted pixel-binning...

Shoot sky with F-log and you're almost guaranteed to get magenta banding like this (LUT applied to make it more visible), even with 10bit 400Mbps codec or external ProRes HQ.
