I've only recently started using Catalyst Browse since we purchased a Sony camera. We record two channels, but when I ingest the footage from the camera cards (XDCAM, .mxf) Browse thinks there are two more channels, so two real channels and two empty channels. Then when I transcode to ProRes...
Just charged one of our new Sony NP-FV100A with the Sony BC-TRV charger and it took 11.5 hours for a full charge (using these to power a Z90V). Wow, I've never had a portable charger take that long, even with similar mAh. Not practical in most of our overseas filming environments.

We just upgraded our Sony Z90V to 1.01 and the ability to record to two cards at once i.e. "simultaneous record" is not working. The setting and even visual icon on screen indicates simultaneous record, but the camera only records to one card.

If I connect an external shotgun into the xlr channel 1, I can route it via settings to channel two as well, but they are locked together. Sorry my terminology is probably off. What I need is to set channel 2 at a different level. At NAB Canon was pretty sure it was possible. Prefer not to use a...
Anyone else have this issue? With the default setting on the 160 (F1) the blacks are washed out sitting at about 8% rather than 0. Reds and yellows are generally OK, but Green, Cyan, Blue and Magenta are far from the vectorscope targets and look undersaturated as I would expect from the scope...
