I am planning to buy a Canon 5D. But the 30fps worries me, since I live in a PAL country. Is it impossible to use video from canon 5D in a project where the rest is shot on 24p or standard PAL. Do I need to recompress the files? And how is that done? Anyone???:dankk2:.

I am trying to export a project from Final Cut to After effects on a PC. But the PC can't read the files, recorded on a P2 camera(720PN). Do I need a codec? Is there a codec to be found for PC that reads DvcPro HD 720/25PN? Please help!!!! Linus

I am using FCP and a HPX500 P2 camera. I also have a RAID 5 external disc connected (5TB). We plan to use the internal discs in the computer as media discs, and the RAID as back-up. Does anyone have any comments? What back-up program shall I use? Thanks

I understand the technical difference between 720p and 720pn. But is it a difference in quality/looks? It has to be ok to mix for instance slomo pictures (720p) with material shot in 720pn, or have I missed something? /Linus
