Back up solution for P2

I am using FCP and a HPX500 P2 camera. I also have a RAID 5 external disc connected (5TB). We plan to use the internal discs in the computer as media discs, and the RAID as back-up. Does anyone have any comments? What back-up program shall I use? Thanks

Not sure about backup program. I manually back up my P2 footage. I have a Server tower (just an empy case) that I put SATA drives into and then connect via eSATA. I use that as backup. I back up to TWO drives, so that I have redundancy.

What did you use to build this? does the tower need a motherboard or an OS?

No motherboard...just need something to hold the drives, so I got a case that could hold 8. Typical PC case lately..

I have added a couple things to this since...a Port Multiplier for one, so that I can connect 5 drives and have one cable on the outside. I no longer use this as a Raid, but as a tower for all my backup drives.
