I havent seen any rates for news stringers I'm thinking i will get my new a1 and change my rates per story what do you all think would be a good rate for news footage per station per story.

I have been using the component cable on my HVX when shooting, hooked to my Marshall monitor. I have trouble with that silly connection Panasonic made where the cable hooks into the camera. Has anyone come up with a way to keep that connection snug? I find that it will jiggle out of position...
