I havent seen any rates for news stringers I'm thinking i will get my new a1 and change my rates per story what do you all think would be a good rate for news footage per station per story.
It will be making it's way to film festivals pretty soon. Dvxuser.com has been very good to all of us, and we have learned so much here, so I am sharing it with you here first. I previously posted a trailer, but have done so much re-editing in the meantime, it's really different.

Hi Everyone,
Below is a short film fresh off the DV Tape stock, called Afterward. I wrote, directed, shot and cut it. We are submitting it to several festivals. The rule is 5 MINUTES or less. Kudos to the lead actor, Brett A. Newton for all his help. He's more than an actor, he's a film guy...
I would like some feedback before I send this out. It is my intro video for "On The Lot." It's about 35 seconds.
Thank you,
-Kristopher
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VIEWED IT.
Check it out and let me know what you think. It's not a traditional trailer, but more like a preview. Enjoy, and thanks for watching it.
Have a great day everyone,

Hi everyone,
How would I broadcast a wedding video live online? A client's relative is sick, and wants to be able to watch the video live from a laptop. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
-Kris
I use FCP 4.5 HD. In the past few weeks, when I import still images into a project, they come out looking degraded. I have no idea how to fix this. Anyone have any tips or a similar issue? Could it be the pulldown settings?
Have a good day,
-Kris
I have a question, that I am sure has been answered, but could not find the answer. When you get a new battery (DVX 5600) do you charge it first, or let it run down then charge it up?
Thanks,
-Kris
