i have a highly (i think) technical question about 3-chip cameras... are the sensors (ccd or cmos) monochrome (or only sensitive to their respective color range)? or are they full color chips that simply have red, green, and blue filters on them? thanks

i was just wondering if there was a way to get a non comressed 4:4:4 signal from my hmc150. HDMI isn't capable of that, is it?

this cam has jacks for remote focus/iris/zoom. i could buy the varizoom controller for it, but i'd like to save my cash for a letus35, matte box, and some more lighting. how hard would it be to build my own wired system? i'm pretty good with electronics...
