to you guys using laptops for Avid Express DV: can you list here the models your're using? also....are the soundcards good enough to record dubs (voiceovers) straight onto the computer? could really use some good advice in this dept.

Hello everyone...new to this community, so please bear with me. I installed my Avid Express DV yesterday on a Sony Vaio vgna690 laptop...and got this error message: Exception: ADM_DSOUND_MIXER_OPEN_ERROR - and then avid closes. So my question is: is this a software- or a hardware problem...
