People have been doing RED projects on Media Composer for a while now. Since the release of the RED SDK the Avid guys have been working on simplifying this process and there are finally results to see. Avid had a RED event in Los Angeles on November 5th. Avid RED support.

There is a love and hate thing going for Avid DS. But the new release that Avid showed on 8/20 at Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood is pretty darn fast at what it does. It may not save the world but it will save the time. Lots of time. Especially when there is a client breathing behind your neck...
