Have any of you used or tried both of these storyboarding softwares? If so, which one did you prefer and why? I'm thinking of getting one of them but I can't compare because there isn't a demo of Storyboard Quick/Artist. Unless someone has a suggestion for an even better program to use? Thanks.

I transcoded my Canon 5D footage to ProRes 422. Edit is locked and ready for color grading. Should I colour grade the ProRes files in my timeline or should I replace the ProRes files in the timeline with the original Canon 5D files and then color grade?

Hi all, I'm planning on buying a Macbook Pro and use it for editing HDV footage when I'm out of town. Should I upgrade the hard drive to a 7200 rpm sata drive or a solid state drive? Can one of them save me more time (editing/rendering/etc) than the other or are they roughly the same? Thanks
