If this question has been asked.. please direct me to the link, i couldnt find it. But when using a Red Rock 35 MM adapter lense with a DVX100b, do you also need an anamorphic lense too, or is the 35mm adapter lense inherently anamorphic?

Has anyone ever used the Neumann KM 185mt for their hyper in a short film or feature? Or is this primarily a mic used for musical instruments? I wonder how it compares (for dialogue for film) with the mkh50 or even the AKG ck93

Does anyone recommend a specific shock mount for the Sennheisser mkh50? (for boom pole) I heard the KSSM is awesome for a some hypers, but I noticed that the body of the mkh50 isnt exactly round, so i wondered if it would be better to go with a shock mount with rubber bands?

When someone refers to a mics "self noise"...what exactly do they mean?

I finally decided to purchase the Sanken cs3e. (For films and commercials) I understand the ideal situation would be to have a hyper for indoors and a shotgun for out.. but since i dont want to buy mediocre mics, and im still on a limited budget, I would rather buy one GREAT mic, than two...

If your were a commercial and filmmaker, and you could only have one mic on your budget, Which one would you prefer and why if you decided it was between these two... The Sennheisser MKH 416 or the Sanken CS3E?
